Caring for a Bee with ToBEE.

One of the worst threats to beekeepers ist the varroa mite. It was brought from Asia to Europe by scientists and beekeepers – both legally and illegally. From then on it was only a question of time until it would infest and destroy the indigenous species of bees.
 
Great efforts are being made to fight this pest. A number of measures have been developed and approved. And there have also been various experiments in order to control it. Unfortunately with varying levels of success.

Some of these measures, which are definitely powerful have little or no effect due to carelessness or ignorance of their user. Occasionally the effect of the measures is weakened by either an inadequate or an extremely exaggerated dosages being administered. Maybe this is due to ignorance or a lack of interest.

Things need not continue in this direction. Without bees humanity would soon face massive problems.

Was it Albert Einstein how once said, if all the bees disappear, humanity will have four years to live ?

Looking at nature in its entirety, you can only feel desparate and helpless knowing which poisons are being sprayed, spread or disposed of in nature.
There are too many people who do not care about their environment. This is also very saddening in its ethical signification.

Therefore it is my concern to work against measures, whose dangerous effects are played down but which are permitted and tolerated in agriculture, nature and our environment.

I am convinced that there are other options – in harmony with nature. Profit gain should not be the main directive. There are also ecologically, friendly ways of protecting the bees without resorting to the use of llarge quantities of acids.
